Creating things is human – it connects us to the world around us and is a form of storytelling. Objects that are held in Museum collections also inspire storytelling and can help us draw unexpected connections to contemporary issues and perspectives.
Explore imaginative new works in various mediums by artists, makers and creators from the broader community. Art and history have a lot in common as both disciplines involve interpreting what is around us and create a record of this interpretation. Each new art piece has been inspired by the Museum’s selected collection of artifacts and oral histories.
